I bought a CD at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts’ gift shop to give to my grandson Olivier who turns two on Saturday May 8, 2014. On the CD I found a song that I will use as a lament about his move to Kansas City. I am sad that this May birthday will maybe be the last I celebrate with him.
I flew high to go see Olivier (and his family) last February when it was his father’s birthday. One day he saw me perched upon a cherry tree and now we know where the swallows go.
